Hook your reader - 5 simple ways...

There is a lot of noise out there. Readers of content are getting bombarded.

Last week at the PSMG event and Digital Marketing Show when it came to content many people were agreeing that when you write focusing on your niche audience is very important.

Below Jeremy Knight from Equinet lists 5 simple ways good content writers keep their readers hooked: "Trim the fat; avoid stating the obvious; harness the power of images; use analogies and work your style."

I particularly agree with the last point. It needs to be your authentic voice when it comes to your content. It's not just about your firm it's about you.

an important question: what makes a writer great? The answer is a myriad of things, many of which can’t be pinned down. And many others which are subjective. As a content writer, you don’t have to be a master - it's perfectly okay to feel that you're learning as you go. But you do have to keep your readers’ attention.
