Maybe, maybe not - but if your sales staff are embarrassed by your brand (or website or blog or any external comms) then you really need to move quickly. If your representatives are nervous about your brand (i.e. their company as a whole) it is extremely corrosive. Sales, in particular, is a mojo-driven process and being on the winning team is a big part of that.

Having an icky website, or a dated brand, doesn't help them build the confidence to do the business you want them too.
