I've been made aware today of Answer the Public, a fantastic new tool. Type in a keyword, such as 'content marketing' and it'll come with the top questions people have asked on the topic. You can also restrict the search by geography. In the case of 'content marketing' in the UK this meant the starting point for hundreds of blog posts in just a few seconds. 

Regular readers of this blog will know that we often talk about creating content that addresses the challenges and queries faced by your clients and prospective clients. This website is the perfect tool to achieve this, and best of all, it's free.

The auto suggest results provided by Google & Bing are a goldmine of insight for today's marketeers. As you type you are presented with an aggregated view of the questions & therefore a hint of the motivations & emotions of the people behind each search query. It's perhaps one of the best but most underutilised sources of research for content ideas. Until now...
