PRODUCT UPDATE: What's new from Passle?

Our latest sprint, named after the 'Two Flints' brewery in Windsor, primarily focused on developing a new activity email tailored specifically for BD and Marketing teams. Additionally, we've implemented numerous enhancements and improvements across the platform to optimise user experience and functionality.

If you want to learn more about the updates or have any questions, please feel free to contact the Passle Client Success Team.

Here is an overview of our new features and enhancements

New activity statistics emails

We have developed a new activity email tailored specifically for Business Development, Client Administration, and Marketing Teams. This email provides a comprehensive overview of key insights, empowering users to measure content performance and engagement effectively.

Administrators have complete control over the distribution of these emails, including the ability to set the report level at either the Passle or Client level and set the frequency. You can also customise the specific day, time, and time zone for sending the reports to suit your preferences. In addition, administrators can select which users to receive the reports, ensuring that the right team members stay informed. To see how to set up your activity email, refer to the guide: How to set up and manage activity emails

Enhancements to LinkedIn Quick Share

Improved summary selection and generation

We've enhanced the LinkedIn Quick Share tool by improving summary generation and allowing users to browse and select their preferred options.

Initially, three summaries are loaded automatically, with the option to generate three more. You can generate up to 15 summary versions.

Prompt to detect if you are author

We've also updated the LinkedIn Quick Share tool to generate summaries that adapt based on whether you're the author of the post.

If you authored the post, the summary will feature a first-person perspective, while shared posts from colleagues will adopt a more neutral tone. This ensures context-appropriate summaries for more effective sharing.

Enhancement to ISTATOY email

The new ISTATOY emails for Enterprise clients will feature a brief post summary, offering more context and detail than just the first sentence. This improvement aims to give the intended recipient a clearer understanding of the article's content and how it may benefit them.

Ability to hide advanced editing features on editing toolbar

To support our enterprise clients' integrations, we have introduced options to remove certain advanced formatting features from the text toolbar. These include:

  • Embedded media (iFramely)
  • Insert image (in post only)
  • Tables
  • Quotes (in post only)
  • Accordion sections
  • Special characters
  • Superscript & subscript

Other key changes in this update, including enhancements or minor tweaks to our existing features

Update to Featured media when selecting embedded media

The user flow for selecting Featured media with the 'Embed media' option has been updated.

Previously, the embedded media image could be separated from the link and used as a sharing image, risking copyright issues. Now, if a copyright issue is detected, users must select a separate thumbnail for the Content hub/sharing image.

Edit post page toolbar: additional options added under numbered list feature

We've updated the numbered list feature, which was previously limited to a simple 1, 2, 3 format. It now includes six different options, offering greater flexibility and personalisation. See the available options below.

Updates to Newsletter feature

We've enhanced the employee advocacy newsletter tool with a "My posts only" filter, updated share options to select individual links, and expanded the ability to generate newsletters to all user roles, not just Administrators.
