When I have a question, a dilemma, or simply need some tips, social media is often my first port of call. Unfortunately, months later, when I wanted to go back and find that post full of New York recommendations, I had trouble locating it.
Facebook seems to have cottoned on to this and is launching, first in the US then elsewhere, a new feature that will let you save the recommendations. From a user perspective, that's a fantastic way to harness the collective knowledge of your acquaintances.
Other new exciting features include the option to 'Request an appointment' on a business page, as well 'Get a Quote'. These are all a natural fit for Facebook which has already been taking steps in the e-commerce direction - and it's great news for B2B and B2C businesses alike.
