This is the difference between winning and losing at content marketing. Every day I see examples of companies who write 4 pieces of content and produce two videos in January and then nothing else for the rest of the year. That's not how content marketing works.
Content has to be invested in for the long term. A good content strategy is when you provide interesting and/or useful information on a regular basis over a long period time to your clients and to your potential clients.
If you do this and do it well then after a while you become a "go-to" source of information in your field and you help people do their jobs or run their businesses more effectively. If you can achieve that then the new business will fall neatly in behind.
