You have to "Keep Chasing Your Customers with Content"

This is the difference between winning and losing at content marketing.  Every day I see examples of companies who write 4 pieces of content and produce two videos in January and then nothing else for the rest of the year.  That's not how content marketing works.

Content has to be invested in for the long term.  A good content strategy is when you provide interesting and/or useful information on a regular basis over a long period time to your clients and to your potential clients.

If you do this and do it well then after a while you become a "go-to" source of information in your field and you help people do their jobs or run their businesses more effectively.  If you can achieve that then the new business will fall neatly in behind.

As a brand interested in generating tons of new sales in 2017, it’s your job to be omnipresent online. You need to keep chasing your customers with content that convinces and converts even the coldest of leads. In order to do that, you cannot just sit down, write a piece of content, share it on all your social media profiles and wait for a miracle. Nope. You need to invest in its actual distribution and figure out alternative ways on how to spike interest in your work.
