PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING INSIGHTS

Communicating has never been more vital in this virtual world

In the last week, our world has changed dramatically from being at least in some way physically visible and having physical access to things and information, to now being as virtual as possible. We are all being asked to stay home, to protect the most vulnerable in society by helping the NHS to cope.

This means that we need to access information in a different way, and all businesses are no doubt prioritising their efforts to make everything available virtually. Events have been moved to online webinars and online conferences, teams are now communicating wholly online as everybody works are home, and businesses must support their clients and communicate with prospects virtually.

Ultimately, all barriers to learning about your business and your tool or product must be removed, and more importantly, finding information must be a joy and not a pain point. Publishing content has frequently been the job of the marketing team and often ghost writers, as they pen something for people in their business. However, it's now more important than ever that everyone contributes to this effort. Potential buyers are going to want to hear about a product or a service from the experts, because they won't meet them in person right now.

Platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter are ideal platforms to share information and it's important that you share information in the places that your audiences will most likely be inhabiting.
