PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING INSIGHTS

| less than a minute read

Short & Sweet: If it can't be read with two thumb swipes, it won't be read at all.

Guilty of writing long, winding (tedious) posts myself, I read a comment on LinkedIn from Alex Low of Digital Leadership Associates recently saying that "If it can't be read with two thumb swipes, it won't be read."

Thought it was rather apt and appropriate: Bite-size, tidbits, insights, snippets, our perspectives... The list of phrases used to describe this style of content is endless and frankly, the name is irrelevant.

What's interesting is that if your content cannot be read a) quickly and b) on the move (phone, tablet etc.) then it won't be read at all. Food for thought.
