We’re thrilled to bring you the first episode in a new series: The Passle People Podcast.

On the series, our Talent and HR Lead, Sarah Marwood, sits down with members of the Passle team to hear about their passions, hobbies and interests outside of work.

In this first episode of the series, Sarah talks to Charles Cousins, Olympian and VP of Sales here at Passle, to hear all about his rowing career, from school tryouts to the 2012 London Olympics and beyond.

Charles shares his rowing highs and exciting news on the upcoming 2022 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals, as he steps out of retirement to join the GB Rowing Team, competing in the mixed double with Clare Jamison.

The World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals take place in Saundersfoot, Wales from 14-16 October.

The entire team here at Passle is behind Charles and Clare and we wish them every success in the competition!

When I found out the World Championships were in Wales I was desperate to get involved. I love being by the ocean, coastal rowing fits nicely within that and I’ve moved to South Wales to be closer to the sea. I’m looking forward to racing with Clare as she’s really strong in the sprint format.
