Charlie: Welcome to the CMO Series podcast, where we talk all things marketing and business development in professional services. In this special episode, we are taking a sneak peek at our CMO series Live event, which is coming back to New York this summer. Branded by one guest as the largest annual gathering of law firm, C-suite marketing and business development leaders. This year is going to be even bigger. The CMO Series podcast is brought to you by Passle, the creators of Cross Pitch AI, which makes cross-selling happen. Switch it on and try it today by visiting pasal.net. Now back to the podcast. Now, last year we welcomed over 200 C-suite legal marketers to join us for a jam-packed day of content and networking, and this year we're working behind the scenes to bring the best content to this year's CMO series live. And here to tell us more is our parcel events guru Natasha Sandamas. Welcome, Natasha.
Natasha: Hello. Thank you for having me.
Charlie: No, thanks for joining us. I'm very excited that we're at that point again in the year where we are looking forward to CMO series live and very excitingly, um, back in New York again for a second year running. So I thought it might be good to get you on and just to give us a bit of an update on what to look forward to really. So for those who may not be familiar with CMO series Live, can you give us a brief overview of what the event is all about and perhaps a few highlights from last year?
Natasha: Thank you. Yeah, we are so excited to be bringing this event back to New York this summer. This year the conference is taking place on Thursday, June 5th, and we are back at the same venue as last year as well, which is called Second Floor. It's right in the center of Midtown Manhattan and was a fantastic location for us last year. So we are really looking forward to coming back there. So, for anyone who's not familiar with it, CMO series Live is our flagship conference here at Passle, and it was born off the back of the podcast that people might recognize the name, and it is where we bring together chiefs from across the industry to come together for a day of, essentially just sharing stories and ideas with one another. So last year we had 200 attendees who kindly came to join us for the day. It was a fantastic day. Truly surpassed our expectations so much. Good content and networking, and it came out of the day, and yeah, this year has had to be even bigger and better. So we're really looking forward to it.
Charlie: Oh, it sounds brilliant. And I was there last year so I can testify that that was the case and it was a fantastic day full of amazing content and I think folks can check that out if you visit our website as well. So I guess looking forward to this year, the CMO series Live 2025, which has a very nice ring to it. What's in store for the agenda this year and what, you know? Can you share any details yet about the speaker lineup?
Natasha: I can. So, as always, the way that we design the agenda for this conference is we really listen to what it is that our audience actually wants to hear and discuss with one another. The way that we design the day, it really does become interactive between speakers and the audience. So we're able to facilitate some real valuable conversations for them. This year we've got a real mix of topics that are focusing on everything from driving growth at your firm, business development strategies, all the way through to cross selling. And this year we are also adding in a managing partner panel where we'll be hearing directly from them on the ways that they've adopted content as a form of their own business development strategy. So that's definitely one to look forwards to. We have actually recently published a bit of a sneak preview of these confirmed speakers that is up now on our Passle blog, and we'll be doing a full reveal of the whole lineup very soon.
Charlie: That sounds fantastic. A really good mix of content there and very exciting to hear from managing partners too. I'm sure all of, the CMOs coming along and the CMBDOs will be very excited to hear directly from those as well. That's great. And, and I guess for anyone looking to come that perhaps hasn't been CMO series live before, what makes it so special? What makes it stand out from other legal marketing events out there?
Natasha: So we are, we are very intentional in the way that we've designed the whole conference, and it really is staying true to the CMO series brand. So everything about the day is considered. We are considering what CMOs want from the day, and that includes the agenda, of course. So all of the content from the conference is delivered by chiefs themselves. Obviously this year we're adding in some managing partners, but it's all very much that senior-level content delivered to a senior-level audience. And that was some feedback from last year that gas just really appreciated the high level value that they were able to take home from the day. And, of course we add in a ton of networking opportunities throughout the day. So we try and split the day up with plenty of breaks where everyone gets to mingle and talk to each other. And that was where we saw some of the great value last year in those conversations that happened away from this presentations as well.
Charlie: Oh, that's brilliant. And, I guess from producing the CMO Series podcast and, and you mentioned, this event has been born off the back of that. We are in a great position and a very privileged position to hear from CMOs on a kind of weekly basis, so we really understand what the challenges and the opportunities are facing them at this moment in time. So it's I guess from that we can build that really strong agenda of content like you mentioned, very valuable to that group. And I suppose, for those interested in attending who haven't been before and are not sure how to register, how can folks sign up for the event?
Natasha: So you can register directly on our website, which is home.passle.net, and search CMO series live. You'll also find it on across our social media on LinkedIn. Or you can reach out directly to one of the Passle team, and we'll help to get you signed up.
Charlie: Fantastic. And for those who are not able to attend, perhaps those that won't be in New York, uh, this summer, will there be any content available after the event, for them to have a look at?
Natasha: Absolutely. We practice what we preach there at Passle, so there will be event summary posts written up after each session that will be published on the Passle blog. There'll also be a film crew there, which is really exciting. They do a fantastic job of helping us to capture the whole day.
Charlie: Fabulous. Very much looking forward to this year's CMO series live. So thank you, Natasha, and I think folks can stay tuned for a bit of an update ahead of the event. We'll be delving into the agenda in a bit more detail closer to the event in June. So thank you very much Natasha, and yeah, we'll be back soon with more on the agenda. Thanks for joining us.
Natasha: Thanks so much for having me.
